Welcome!

Welcome to the website of Bath Citadel, a church of The Salvation Army based in Green Park – in the historic Roman city of Bath. On these pages you will find our programme of forthcoming events, recent news stories and information on our musical and youth groups. This site is still under development, but we hope to have all information published soon.

At Bath Citadel, you can be sure of a warm welcome whether you are 8 or 80! We have regular Sunday meetings – if you are visiting the area, looking for somewhere to worship or even just curious as to what The Salvation Army is all about, we would be pleased to see you. There’s no need to wear a uniform – in fact many in our regular congregation don’t.

Details of the Sunday meetings at Bath Citadel can be found under weekly activities, with more details and those in the coming weeks on the coming events page. However, you may not feel that attending a service on a Sunday is the right thing for you at this stage – so why not just come along to one of our other events? Again, you can always be sure of a friendly atmosphere and welcome.

Please do not feel nervous about getting in touch – we would be pleased to answer any questions you may have about Bath Citadel, or The Salvation Army in general. You can contact us by email at bath.citadel@salvationarmy.org.uk or phone  01225 400051.

Our Corps Officers (Ministers) are Majors Andrew and Ingrid Diaper-Clausen.

Finding us couldn’t be easier – we’re located on the junction of James Street West and Charles Street – for sat nav users, you can use the postcode BA1 1XE. We have limited parking, but the nearest public car park is located in Kingsmead Square, a very short walk from our hall.
